What to See and Where to Go in Yerevan

Clean air, delicious food, a variety of mineral waters, and mesmerizing ancient temples—Yerevan has it all. Along with top-notch specialized doctors and a high standard of medical services, this makes for a perfect and beneficial journey for both your soul and body.
There are plenty of articles on the internet dedicated to the landmarks of Armenia, and finding them is not difficult. However, in our story, we want to tell a slightly different tale and show Yerevan the way locals see it. And, of course, we’ll start with jazz.
Forsh Club
Many people know that the capital of Armenia attracts visitors from all over the world to listen to incredible jazz compositions that can be heard literally at every corner. The most famous club is, of course, Malkhas Jazz. However, locals often prefer the more conservative and cozy Forsh Club. There, you can enjoy performances by renowned musicians or meet young, emerging talents.
Dalan Art Gallery
A unique space where you can explore trendy exhibitions and purchase designer souvenirs—from sculptures and jewelry to bags and tableware. After your cultural experience, you can relax with a cup of tea or coffee in the cozy garden, or perhaps indulge in a hearty meal of delicious Armenian cuisine.
Yervand Kochar Museum
Another cultural space that art lovers, particularly those interested in sculpture and painting, cannot miss. In Yerevan, you can visit the former studio of Yervand Kochar, the "Armenian Picasso." By the way, works by this renowned artist are also exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
DineSky Erevan
Yerevan can surprise with more than just art. A few years ago, the city opened its highest restaurant, offering dinners 55 meters above the ground!
Charents Arch
It’s impossible to imagine Yerevan, or Armenia as a whole, without Mount Ararat — it’s our pride and love! While it can be seen from various parts of the city, we’ll point you to the best spot. At Charents Arch, on the highway to Gerard, you can capture the most beautiful and authentic photographs of this magnificent mountain and the entire Ararat Valley.
Megerian Carpet Factory
Another unique place that offers everything in one spot. Here, you can visit a one-of-a-kind museum, get an inside look at the carpet-making process, choose a rug, or even order a custom one tailored to your tastes and preferences! After all these fascinating activities, you can enjoy a meal at the traditional Armenian cuisine restaurant located right there.
The First Musical Fountain
Did you know? The very first musical fountain of the Soviet Union was built right here in Yerevan. To this day, it attracts the attention of both locals and visitors with its stunning light and music shows. Its highlight is the grand finale — the same beloved song by Charles Aznavour, "La Bohème", which is cherished by many as the perfect conclusion to the performance.
Matenadaran
This is one of the largest repositories of ancient manuscripts in the world, housing 17,000 ancient manuscripts and 100,000 archival documents, all carefully preserved and maintained.
And that’s just a glimpse of what beautiful Armenia has to offer! Come visit—we promise you’ll return home not only healthy but also brimming with energy and wonderful memories!
